How SVG Me works
SVG Me turns raster images (PNG, JPEG and similar) into clean, scalable SVG vector graphics.
Three steps
Upload one image
Choose, drop, or paste a PNG, JPEG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, or WebP. The app analyzes it and recommends tracing settings.
Choose the style
We pick the image type, source quality, transparency, gradients, shading and colors for you and vectorize right away. Change any setting that looks off, then vectorize again.
Vectorize and download
Every completed version is saved. Unlocking its project costs 1 credit, then every version can be downloaded without another charge.
Locked projects are kept for 30 days; unlocked projects are kept until you delete them. Guest results from this browser are added when you sign in. Original raster images are not stored.
Questions
What is an SVG?
SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) describes an image as shapes instead of pixels, so it stays sharp at any size. It works in design tools like Figma and Illustrator, on websites, in print, and with cutting machines.
Which images work best?
Logos, icons, illustrations and other artwork with clear shapes and a limited set of colors. Photos work too, but produce larger, more detailed files. Use the largest, sharpest source you have.
How do credits work?
Converting and previewing is free. Downloading costs 1 credit per project: once unlocked, every version of that project can be recolored and downloaded again at no charge. Buy credits or redeem a code on your account page.
What happens to my uploads?
Your original image is held in memory only while you work on it and is never saved. Finished SVGs are saved to your projects so you can come back to them. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Is there an API?
Yes, the API is available now. Sign in, verify your email and create an API key on your account page. Convert images from your own scripts or apps with the same engine and settings as the web app, using synchronous requests or asynchronous jobs. Each successfully converted image uses 1 credit; failed conversions and re-exports are free. Start with the step-by-step guide or see the API reference.
